Shadow AI: A New Era of the Supply Chain 🇧🇷

We are honored to welcome Ben-Hur Santos Ott, an executive and specialist with nearly two decades of experience bridging software development and cybersecurity.

As a Staff Solutions Engineer at Snyk, Ben-Hur specializes in AI Security, AppSec, and DevSecOps, designing and implementing end-to-end security strategies for companies across Latin America.

He brings extensive leadership experience, having built and led AppSec and Product Security teams for Big Tech companies in the Fintech and E-commerce sectors, including a notable tenure as Tech Lead at Mercado Livre.

Beyond his frontline corporate work, he has a strong connection to the technical community. He created the AppSec career track at Alura, runs an educational YouTube channel, and co-hosts major industry podcasts such as WSS Podcast and the DevSecOps Podcast.

In his talk, “SHADOW AI: A NEW ERA OF THE SUPPLY CHAIN,” he will share his strategic and technical perspective on the new risks introduced by AI agents and how security must evolve alongside this innovation throughout the software development lifecycle.
